AWARD RECIPIENTS
THE AWARDS:
The Fairs Program is non-competitive in nature and acknowledges the work of all students and the learning process involved. However, certificates and prizes are given out at the discretion of the Steering Committee. All district level (Vernon) awards are sponsored and presented by a community organization or business. Students who illustrate exceptional work at the District Fair may go on to showcase their projects at the Regional Fair held in Kelowna and, from there, the Provincial Fair which is held in a different city in the province each year.
SPECIAL AWARDS:
PEOPLES’ CHOICE AWARD – An award that is voted on by adults attending the Fair.
STUDENTS’ CHOICE AWARD – An award that is voted on by the students participating in the Fair.
