VERNON & DISTRICT HERITAGE FAIR
A PROJECT OF THE GREATER VERNON MUSEUM & ARCHIVES

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION

The Heritage Fairs Program is driven by volunteers.  Volunteer committees involving educators, museums, heritage groups, service clubs, businesses and community members work together to organize our Vernon and District Heritage Fair.  The result is a community-based celebration of Canadian heritage that has a long lasting impact on all the participants.

You can help by joining a committee to:

  • promote the Fairs Program
  • plan and/or help with student activities
  • set up before the Fair
  • help with food the day of the Fair
  • help with taking pictures
  • clean up following the Fair
  • supervision/security
  • find door prizes
  • judging

There are volunteer positions for short and long-term positions.  We would invite anyone interested to contact us.
