INTERIOR SALISH MUSEUM TOUR
Content ~ This tour is comprised of three stations:
A guided tour exploring the Interior Salish displays in the museum, reinforces and expands the information from the group presentation.
Students will take part in activities such as grinding seeds with a mortar and pestle, using a bow-drill fire starting kit, and playing aboriginal games.
Students will have the opportunity to explore the Natural History area, focusing on the interesting variety of animals and plants found in our region’s forest, grassland and lakeshore habitats.
Cost ~ No Charge
Length ~ Approximately 2 hours
Grade level ~ Grade 4 & 9
School to provide ~ at least three adults to assist with supervision.
