"POSTES CANADA POST "

Working with the Heritage Club of Canada for Retirees of Canada Post, this exhibit outlines the history of postal services in Canada from the 18th century to recent times.  Highlights associated with local postal history is a focus of the exhibit.

"THE COLDER SIDE OF THE SPORTING LIFE"

(at the Wesbild Centre)

This exhibit celebrates winter sporting activities in the North Okanagan by encompassing the history of organized and unorganized winter sports that have taken place in the region for the past century. Downhill and cross-country skiing, curling, ice-skating, snowmobiling, and hockey will all be showcased with artifacts, photographs, and text. The exhibit will be located at Vernon's Wesbild Centre, the new home of the Vernon Museum's Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame.
