"THE COLDER SIDE OF THE SPORTING LIFE"

(at Kal Tire Place)

This exhibit consists of 8 wall-mounted cases and celebrates winter sporting activities in the North Okanagan.  The exhibit encompasses the history of organized and unorganized winter sports that have taken place in the region for the past century. Downhill and cross-country skiing, curling, ice-skating, snowmobiling, and hockey are all showcased with artifacts, photographs, and text. The exhibit is located at Vernon's Kal Tire Place, the home of the Vernon Museum's Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame.
