STATIC & TEMPORARY EXHIBITS   The diverse and colourful history of the North Okanagan is portrayed through a series of permanent and temporary exhibits filled with artifacts, photographs and text. COLLECTIONS & RESEARCH   Selected artifacts and artwork from the museum's vast collections are highlighted and explained, giving researchers a unique glimpse into the objects that document our past. THE ARCHIVES   Well in excess of 700 inquiries come into the museum's archives each year. Search our on-line database for historic photos or, for complete access to our holdings, visit in person. EDUCATION PROGRAMS   Children and adult programs at the museum offer learning opportunities for both young and old including guided tours, workshops, lectures, and classroom presentations. THE GIFT SHOP   The museum's on-site gift shop carries an extensive line of books on local and natural history, jewelry and limited edition prints by wildlife illustrator, Allan Brooks.   HALL OF FAME   The Okanagan Sports Hall of Fame and Museum is a function of the Vernon Museum. Exhibits for the Hall of Fame are permanently located at Kal Tire Place in Vernon.
