The Greater Vernon Museum and Archives' gift shop carries an extensive line of books on local history (including current and back issues of the Okanagan Historical Society reports) natural history, and First Nations history; unique jewellery items, and hand thrown pottery by Vernon potter, Bob Kingsmill. The shop also carries limited edition wildlife prints by Major Allan Brooks. These prints have been faithfully reproduced from originals in the museum's collection.

There are six images available. Each one has been faithfully reproduced using the giclee process from the originals held in the museum's permanent collections. Each image is limited to 300 copies and comes unframed with a certificate.

S.S. Okanagan: Print Size - 13.50" x 9.00" Price - $155.00 plus shipping
History of the original: Dating to 1924, this painting was donated to the Vernon Museum in 1966 by Allan Brooks Jr. A year later, the image appeared on the cover of the book, "An Illustrated History of Vernon & District." A publication of the Vernon Museum commemorating Canada's centennial.

Spruce Grouse: Print Size - 13.50" x 9.50" Price - $155.00 plus shipping
History of the original: This is a very early Allan Brooks painting dating sometime prior to World War I. It was purchased by the Vernon Museum in 1974 from a collector in New Brunswick.

Above The Clouds: Print Size - 13.50" x 9.50" Price - $155.00 plus shipping
History of the original: Painted in 1926, this work was originally sold at an exhibition of Brooks' works in San Diego in 1928. It was purchased from a collector on Vancouver Island in 2000 and donated to the Vernon Museum that same year.

Grey Partridge: Print Size - 10.75" x 10.25" Price - $145.00 plus shipping
History of the original: Also known as English Partridge, this work was painted in 1917 when Allan Brooks was stationed overseas during World War I. It was purchased in 2003 from a collector in Britain and donated to the Vernon Museum that same year.

Four Warblers: Print Size - 10.50" x 15.25" Price - $155.00 plus shipping
History of the original: The Vernon Museum purchased this exceptional work in 2007 from a collector in Ontario. The work dates to 1929 when it was purchased by William H. Robb, a noted Canadian ornithologist and personal friend of Allan Brooks, for $90.00.

Meadowlark: Print Size - 8.50" x 11.00" Price - $145.00 plus shipping
History of the original: This painting was presented to W.S. Harris in 1937 in appreciation of his work as president of the Vernon Game Protective Association. The painting was donated to the Vernon Museum in 1967.
